My name is Joan Novak. I live in Whistler, BC CANADA.
I am an award winning hairstylist, and photographer.
I am a Master Colourist & Hairstylist with 36 years experience and Creative that does it all.
I do creative direction, wardrobe, hair, photography and editing.
I'm obsessed with getting the next photo. I live for creating my next shoot whether it's for me or a client! I feel that this will help to elevate your shoot as I know hair.
I own a 900 sq ft. hair salon/studio in Whistler ,BC. CANADA called JoNo Hair.
The space has 3 hairstyling stations for prepping models hair & makeup.
In 2020 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. While I was undergoing treatment I decided that one of my regrets in life was that I let learning studio photography overwhelm me. So I decided to start photography after my treatments ended in June 2021.
My niche is Hair & Beauty Photography. I shoot for hairstylists, makeup & editorial beauty.
I look forward to collaborating with my clients to create beautiful images.
